I sit here in my office this morning, looking at the two holes in my thumb, asking myself is it worth it? I took my Eldest Nephew trout fishing for the first time. He never landed a trout until now. I hope I didn't spoil him since every browner he caught was over 14 inches with one reaching 16 inches!

There’s more to live bait rigging than meets the eye. The concept sounds simple enough; Take a sliding sinker, add a leader, hook on some live bait, and you’re in business.

Was it worth it? I don't have to think long and hard about it. I just have to remember my nephew saying "That is the first trout I have ever caught" to come to a quick conclusion that YES it was darn well worth it!!! Take a kid fishing, take a friend fishing, take your dad or mom fishing or whom ever you can. Don't keep the fun to yourself!!!
